Accreditation Technical Committees

There are 10 Technical committees, consisting of 70 leading experts of their fields, (decision A/108 of the Chairman of MASM, 20.04.2015) operates beside the Accreditation Department.

I. Accreditation Technical committees for laboratories
- Accreditation Technical committee for Measurement laboratories
- Accreditation Technical committee for Medical laboratories
- Accreditation Technical committee for Medicine testing laboratories
- Accreditation Technical committee for Mineral resources testing laboratories
- Accreditation Technical committee for Petroleum products testing laboratories
- Accreditation Technical committee for Road and construction materials testing laboratories
- Accreditation Technical committee for Food and Environmental testing laboratories
- Accreditation Technical committee for Veterinary testing laboratories
II. Accreditation Technical committee for certification bodies
III. Accreditation Technical committee for inspection bodies

Accreditation Technical committees are responsible for reviewing reports from an assessment team and recommending on accreditation decisions about the assessed conformity assessment bodies.

Members of Technical Committees are representing all parties from relevant government and non-government organizations, scientific and educational institutions and conformity assessment bodies. 35.7% (25) of the members are from government organizations, 15.7% (11) from non-government organization, 31.4% (22) from educational institutes and scientific institutions, 12.8% (9) from conformity assessment bodies. 50% (35) of the members of Technical committees have academic degree of PhD or ScD.
